Dugald is Founder and Director of Seventh Wave, a boutique business that specializes in providing bespoke programs designed to maximize the performance of individuals, teams and organizations by unleashing the potential within. Founded in May 2008, Seventh Wave provides Extraordinary Leadership Development, Outperformance Coaching, Unique Team Offsites and Dynamic Keynote Speaking - with clients in the corporate, government, health-care, and not-for-profit sectors.
The incredible success of Seventh Wave is largely due to its business model. By partnering with clients that are seeking to develop their business through strategic investment in their people, Seventh Wave is able to utilize strategies rarely seen in the corporate world. The client benefits from a seamless, ongoing solution that is designed specifically to leverage key strengths, maximize energy, and search for opportunities to exploit.
Coaching Experience
Dugald began coaching at ANZ in 2002 when, as a Senior Manager, he attended a coaching workshop and realised it would transform his world.
Since then, he has devoted his time to coaching; up-skilling through numerous training programs and utilising his skills in a variety of ways as he changed roles. Until May 2008, Dugald was employed at ANZ as a full-time Executive Coach and Facilitator. His role encompassed coaching, consulting, design and facilitation - working primarily with businesses internal to ANZ, and collaborating with senior teams to deliver outcomes designed to create inspiring leadership and increased performance.
Dugald coaches at all levels, from Senior Executives through to Team Leaders and Frontline staff; working with high flyers through to poor performers. He also specialises in the design and facilitation of workshops intended to improve the core coaching competencies of participants. He has logged hundreds of coaching hours, and facilitated workshops for thousands of satisfied participants. He is an Associate Certified Coach of the International Coach Federation, and until recently was a member of the Victorian Chapter’s Leadership Team. Dugald currently sits on the Executive Coaching Panels at Brambles, Telstra and ANZ, (where two of his clients recently received the CEO’s top 100 performer awards from over 40000 staff).

In 2009, Seventh Wave was nominated for a Business3000 award for innovative work in the field of Peak Performance of individuals and teams in the corporate world (with unique offerings like The BoardMeeting™ and The RoadTrip™ leading the way).
Coaching Style
Dugald utilises a solution-focussed approach to coaching, drawing on N.L.P. techniques and the fundamental principles of positive psychology to create an energetic and uplifting coaching experience. Dugald also likes to share the tools he uses and is happy to explain the fundamentals of the techniques being utilised.
Dugald is passionate about helping to unlock the potential in individuals, teams and organisations. He brings enthusiasm, energy, a fresh perspective and a warm sense of humour to his work and loves to inject inspiration to those he connects with.

Dugald is a husband, father of two, keen surfer and music lover.
